Atome Financial hits second year of profit as revenue surges 80%

Atome Financial said that it achieved full-year profitability for the second consecutive year with revenue rising 80% in 2025.
Revenue is $470m, up 80% year-on-year (YoY), whilst total operating income is $360m, a 52% YoY jump from 2024.
The credit service provider said that growth was thanks to loan book expansion, merchant partnerships, new product rollouts, and operational efficiency attributed to artificial intelligence (AI).

South East Asia Fintech Funding Dips US\$682 Million H1 2026 Tracxn Report

Southeast Asia’s financial technology (fintech) companies raised $682m in the first six months of 2026, down 3% from the same period last year, according to data from Tracxn. It is also 4% lower than the second half of 2025.
This indicates that the market isn’t shrinking but is also not bouncing bank, Tracxn said in the synopsis of “SEA FinTech Semi-Annual Funding Report – H1 2026.”
Seed stage funding rose 45% year-on-year (YoY) to $78.1m, but early-stage funding fell 23% YoY to $153m.

UK Cemented its Place as the European Fintech Hub Attracting Over a Third of All Deals in H1

UK cemented its place as the European FinTech hub as companies based in the country secured 35% of all deals. The UK retained its position as the most active European FinTech market in H1 2026, recording 187 deals and a 35% share of total activity. This compares with 181 deals and a 34% share in H1 2025, a 3% rise in volume that also nudged its proportional standing marginally higher. Deal volume was broadly stable, rising just 1% from 537 transactions in H1 2025 and 9% from 497 in H2 2025.

PayPal, Amazon launch buy now, pay later in Germany, Austria

PayPal Holdings and Amazon.com are launching buy now, pay later services for customers in Germany and Austria, beginning in August.
Eligible Amazon customers will be able to use PayPal Ratenzahlung on Amazon.de and in the Amazon app.
PayPal Ratenzahlung enables customers to split purchases between €30 and €10,000 into fixed monthly payments. Terms of 3, 6, 12, and 24 months are available on purchases, and PayPal is offering new terms exclusive to Amazon customers of 36 and 48 months

Revolut to Offer Apollo and Ares Funds to Clients in Europe

Revolut Ltd. will offer European customers access to funds spanning private equity, credit and infrastructure, one of the most high-profile examples of alternative asset managers teaming up with platforms to attract retail investors.
Clients in countries including France and Spain can invest in funds ranging from Apollo Global Management Inc. and Ares Management Corp. to Hamilton Lane Inc. and Partners Group Holding AG, the London-headquartered fintech said in a statement on Monday. Customers can start with as little as €1 ($1.14) in a Revolut-managed feeder to access the funds, Rolandas Juteika, Revolut’s head of wealth and trading in the European Economic Area, said in an interview.

Buckley, who acquired voting shares in Twin City Bank last year, fully took over the lender, renamed it Increase Bank, and is now using the platform to expand his startup’s work with financial-technology clients.
