Beau Monde, that operates 4 perfumeries in Ukraine, has finalized the acquisition of the 4 shops of Gray.
Gray, established in 1996, is one of the very first Ukrainian perfumery chains. It is a leading retailer on the Crimean peninsula, with 2 shops is Sebastopol (the economic capital of Crimea), 1 in Simferopol (the administrative capital of Crimea), and 1 in Feodosia.
This brings to 8 the number of shops operated by Beau Monde, and shows once again the ambitions of the Finstar Group on this market, which it entered only one month ago. All shops will be refurbished and rebranded in the coming months.
«We see a high potential in the shops of Gray – they have great locations, loyal customers, an experienced staff. At the same time, their assortment is quite limited and their concept is getting old : with a revamping of the stores and a significant widening of the assortment, we believe the sales will increase and the regional leadership strenghtened » said Vladimir Tsvetkov, General Manager of Beau Monde.
The next step of the expansion will come in September, when Beau Monde starts opening new stores in several Ukrainian regions. More detailed plans will be announced shortly.
